Buckling performance of thin-walled filled steel columns

Concrete-filled composite elements have recently gained popularity as beams and columns all over the world. They advantages similar to reinforced concrete elements, such moulding process lack of maintenance filled concrete, well hollow steel enhancing compressive strength bending capacity by using smaller sections. In this paper, buckling behaviour thin-walled with circular cross-section different filling materials was investigated under uniaxial load. Six (concrete produced normal aggregate, waste fine coarse iron dust polyurethane) were used filling. Filled compared experimentally that had same height diameter. All specimens length (750 mm), diameter (60.3mm) wall thickness (3mm). Experimental results analytical obtained from a calculation done national design code, Design, Calculation Construction Principles Steel Structures 2016. Additionally, modelled in Abaqus software. Conservative consistent comparing experimental, analytical, numerical results.
